To search for a cast, either enter your search term or cast number in the search box located in the top right of every page. You can also search for podcasts by tags by pressing the 'Tags' button next to the search box.

On the top left of every page you will see a box titled 'Great Extra Features'. To use this feature press the arrows to scroll through the features and click the one you would like to see.

Go to http://www.podcastpickle.com/news/ to see a list of all the news stories that have been submitted recently. From there you can read excerpts fromt the stories or click "Read the rest of the story" to see the whole story.

To check your personal messages, click the unread PMs at the top right. If you have any unread PMs it will show it in red at the top.

To find your podcast, go to 'Your Podcasts' in your control panel, you will see all your podcasts listed. Move your mouse over the podcast you wish to see and press 'View'.

Some material may not be suitable for children. Parental Guidance is recommended. EX - Explicit:
Podcasts under this rating have content that may not be suitable for persons ages 17 and younger. X - Adult:

To remove a podcast from your favorites, go to your user page and click the 'My Playlist' tab and uncheck the box that says 'Favorite' on the podcast you would like to remove.

If you've downloaded a file from a Pickle Page, and you cannot find it, it may have been deleted, and you may need to download it again. To specify where the file will download to, press browse and specify where you'd like to be saved to.

The Top 100 is determined by the number of users that have added a cast to their playlists. The more people that add you to their playlist, the higher your rank!

To add a cast to your favorites list, first browse or use the search box on the top right of every page to find a cast that you like, then click the checkbox next to 'Add to My Playlist'. After clicking it, the podcast will be on your favorites list! To see your favorites list go to your profile page and look at the 'My Playlist' tab.

Every January and July all favorites are cleared and reset to flush out all the playlists added by people who sign up just to add a cast to their playlist and then never come back to the site.

To get into the Hall of Fame, a podcast has to be number 1 for six consecutive weeks.

To edit your account, go to your control panel.

Every podcast directory's media player relies on Macromedia Flash to play the audio, however Flash's MP3 support isn't perfect and it can only play back a specific type of MP3 file. Make sure your sampling rate is at 44kHz, 22kHz, or 11kHz when you export your podcast; If it isn't, your media will play back at a higher speed than intended.

Find your image online (the url, ex: "http://yourwebsite.com/myimage.gif"), and go to your control panel. Find where it says "Avatar", and paste your URL there.

Once you have purchased the service here, go to your control panel and under "Profile" where it says "Pickle URL" click the link and enter your desired URL.

Podcast Pickle's system retrieves all the information for your podcast from your RSS feed. This includes the description and image. In order for this to appear differently on Podcast Pickle, it would need to be changed in the feed itself.

Your feed URI is the location of your podcast feed. It will begin with 'http://', and it points to the file that contains all of the information about your podcast in RSS 2.0 format. Example: http://www.podcastpickle.com/pickleshow/feed.xml

Shortly after submitting your podcast our staff will review your podcast to make sure it meets our standards. If it meets our standards it will be added.
